Azibo Review (2026): Pricing, Fees, and Who It's Really For
Azibo is a free financial platform for independent landlords that combines rent collection, landlord banking accounts, accounting, tenant screening, and lease documents, and was acquired by TurboTenant in May 2025. Last reviewed August 2026.
Full disclosure: we build Vantric, which competes with Azibo — judge our take accordingly. Every price below comes from Azibo's own published pricing (verified 2026-08-28), and where Azibo is the better choice, we say so.
What Azibo costs
Azibo's core platform has no monthly subscription fee: rent collection via ACH, applications, accounting, and banking are free for landlords. Paid add-ons include state-specific lease agreements with eSign at $29.99 (association digital lease eSign $9.99), extra collaborator seats at $99 per seat per year, and premium onboarding at $300 for up to 100 units. Banking has no monthly service fee, but next-day ACH transfers cost 1% ($1 minimum) and outbound wires cost $25.
The entire core platform — ACH rent collection, applications, accounting, banking, and 1 GB document storage — is free for landlords with no subscription. Azibo monetizes through tenant-paid fees (a $39.99 screening fee, 2.99% card convenience fee, $4.99 partial-payment fee, $4.99/month Credit Boost) plus landlord add-ons like $29.99 lease documents, $99/year collaborator seats, and banking transaction fees.
What tenants pay
Tenants pay rent by ACH bank transfer for free; credit and debit card payments carry a 2.99% convenience fee, and Livble credit-card installment payments cost $30 per month. If the landlord enables partial payments, tenants pay $4.99 per payment after the first, and the optional Credit Boost rent-reporting subscription is $4.99 per month.
Digital rental applications are free and unlimited; the credit and background check costs $39.99 and is charged to the applicant.
What Azibo does well
- Free ACH rent collection with no transaction fees for owners or managers, including free security-deposit collection.
- Built-in landlord banking is a genuine differentiator: FDIC-insured-partner bank accounts with no monthly service fee, purpose-built for separating property finances.
- Rental-property accounting and financial reporting (including Schedule E-oriented tagging) are included free rather than gated behind a subscription.
- Unlimited free digital rental applications, with screening costs passed to the applicant at $39.99.
- Broad free feature set overall — reviewers consistently cite the price-to-capability ratio as the platform's main draw.
Where Azibo falls short
- Users commonly report that rent payouts can take several business days to land in the landlord's bank account, with occasional longer transaction delays.
- Reviewers frequently cite slow customer support response times as a recurring pain point.
- Azibo was acquired by TurboTenant in May 2025, and users are being transitioned toward TurboTenant's platform, creating uncertainty about Azibo's long-term standalone roadmap.
- Users mention limited customization and inflexible payment scheduling, and multi-user access costs $99 per seat per year rather than being included.
Who should pick Azibo
Self-managing landlords who want free ACH rent collection plus dedicated banking and accounting for their rentals in one place, and who don't need a paid full-service management suite.
Who should look elsewhere: Landlords who need fast payout timing, responsive support SLAs, or a platform with a guaranteed independent future — the TurboTenant acquisition means the product direction now runs through TurboTenant.
How Vantric compares
| Azibo | Vantric | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free core platform; pay-per-feature add-ons | $19/mo (up to 4 units) or $39/mo (up to 10) |
| Free tier | The entire core platform — ACH rent collection, applications, accounting, banking, and 1 GB document storage — is free for landlords with no subscription. | No free tier — 14-day free trial, no credit card |
| Feature gating | Landlord banking and rent collection platform | Every feature in both plans |
| Built for | Self-managing landlords who want free ACH rent collection plus dedicated banking and accounting for their rentals in one place, and who don't need a paid full-service management suite. | Only landlords with 1–10 units |
Azibo's free banking-plus-rent-collection bundle is legitimate value, with the caveat that users commonly report payout delays and slow support — and TurboTenant acquired it in 2025, so its independent roadmap is an open question. Like Baselane, it's a finance product, not an operations platform. If free banking is the draw, it's worth a look with eyes open. If you need the tenancy itself managed, that's not what it does — and it is what we do.
Frequently asked questions
Is Azibo free?
Yes, Azibo's core platform is free for landlords with no monthly subscription: ACH rent collection, rental applications, accounting, banking, and 1 GB of document storage cost nothing. Paid extras include $29.99 state-specific lease agreements, $99/year collaborator seats, and $300 premium onboarding for up to 100 units.
How much does Azibo cost?
There is no subscription fee for landlords — the core platform is free, and Azibo makes money on add-ons and tenant-side fees. Landlord-side costs are optional: $29.99 for a state-specific lease with eSign, $99 per collaborator seat per year, $300 premium onboarding, 1% ($1 minimum) for next-day ACH banking transfers, and $25 for outbound wires.
What fees do tenants pay with Azibo?
Tenants pay nothing to pay rent by ACH bank transfer, but card payments carry a 2.99% convenience fee and Livble credit-card installments cost $30 per month. Applicants pay $39.99 for a credit and background check, partial payments cost $4.99 per payment after the first (if the landlord enables them), and the optional Credit Boost rent-reporting subscription is $4.99 per month.
Is Azibo still independent after the TurboTenant acquisition?
No — TurboTenant announced its acquisition of Azibo on May 6, 2025. Azibo's technology continues to support current users during the transition, but Azibo users are gaining access to TurboTenant's platform as the two products combine, so new sign-ups should expect the product direction to run through TurboTenant.
