RentRedi Review (2026): Pricing, Fees, and Who It's Really For

RentRedi is a mobile-first property management app for DIY landlords that bundles rent collection, tenant screening, listings, and maintenance tracking under one flat subscription. Last reviewed August 2026.

Full disclosure: we build Vantric, which competes with RentRedi — judge our take accordingly. Every price below comes from RentRedi's own published pricing (verified 2026-08-28), and where RentRedi is the better choice, we say so.

What RentRedi costs

RentRedi charges one flat subscription regardless of portfolio size: $29.95/month billed monthly, $20/month billed every 6 months ($120 total), or $12/month billed annually ($144 total). All plans include the same features with unlimited properties, tenants, and teammates, and there are no per-unit fees. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies.

What tenants pay

Tenants pay a $1.00 convenience fee per ACH/bank-transfer payment and 3.1% + $0.30 per card payment. Landlords can optionally absorb the ACH or card fees on the tenant's behalf, and can disable card payments entirely.

TransUnion-powered credit, criminal, and eviction reports cost $39.99, or $49.99 with income verification, and are paid by the applicant. Optional rent reporting to credit bureaus costs $5.99/month, payable by either the tenant or landlord.

What RentRedi does well

  • Flat pricing with unlimited units makes cost predictable and cheap for growing portfolios, since a landlord with 2 units and one with 20 pay the same $12-$29.95/month.
  • The $1 tenant ACH fee is among the lowest in the category, and landlords can absorb it if they prefer.
  • All features are included in every plan, so there is no tier-gating of rent collection, screening, listings, or maintenance tools.
  • Strong mobile apps for both landlord and tenant support on-the-go rent collection, maintenance requests with video, and notifications.
  • Screening is fully applicant-paid, so landlords incur no cost to run credit, criminal, and eviction checks.

Where RentRedi falls short

  • Full accounting (Schedule E, bank reconciliation) is handled through the REI Hub integration, which is an add-on rather than a built-in module.
  • Users commonly report that the desktop web experience lags the mobile apps, reflecting the product's mobile-first design.
  • Users commonly report multi-day ACH deposit times for rent payments, particularly for new accounts.
  • No free tier exists, so landlords who only want basic listing or screening tools still pay a subscription.

Who should pick RentRedi

Self-managing landlords with a handful to a few dozen units who want every feature at one flat price and primarily work from their phone. The annual plan is one of the cheapest full-featured options for small portfolios.

Who should look elsewhere: Property managers who need built-in double-entry accounting, owner portals, or team workflows, and landlords who want a polished desktop-first experience.

RentRedi's flat pricing covers unlimited units, which makes it cheaper than Vantric for larger portfolios — full credit there. It's also aggressively mobile-first, which cuts both ways: users commonly report the desktop experience trails the app. Vantric is web-first with a dashboard built for sitting down and actually seeing your portfolio. If you run your rentals entirely from your phone, RentRedi is a solid pick; if you want a real desktop command center for 1–10 units, that's us.

What fees do tenants pay with RentRedi?

Tenants pay a $1.00 convenience fee per ACH payment and 3.1% + $0.30 for card payments. Landlords can choose to cover either fee for their tenants, and optional rent reporting costs $5.99/month.

Does RentRedi include accounting?

RentRedi covers basic income and expense tracking, but full landlord accounting — Schedule E reports, bank reconciliation, double-entry books — comes through its REI Hub integration, which is an additional paid add-on. Landlords who need serious bookkeeping should budget for that on top of the subscription.
